I’m Maria, an actor in New York with a passion for musical theatre. I trained at the New York Film Academy, and theatre has been part of my life forever — it’s where I feel most alive.
I’m proudly Hispanic, and my culture shapes everything I do.

About Me.
Hey there! Thanks so much for stopping by! I’m living out my musical theatre dreams in the vibrant streets of NYC. From singing in my school choir to being captivated by Beauty and the Beast at just four years old, I knew I belonged on stage. In fact, when the show ended, I stayed seated, completely mesmerized. My mom tried to get me to leave, but I told her, “No, this is where I need to be.” That’s when I truly realized the stage was my place.

Most recently, I had the incredible opportunity to play Wendla in Spring Awakening at Clear Space Theatre. I’ve also been lucky to portray Liesel in The Sound of Music at Lincoln Center, and Maria in West Side Story at NCC Summer Theatre. You might have also seen me as Tzeitel in Fiddler on the Roof or stepping in as Sophie’s understudy in Mamma Mia!

After completing NYFA’s musical theatre conservatory, I’ve been balancing auditions while pursuing a bachelor’s degree in advertising and PR online. NYC has become my playground for making those childhood dreams a reality.
I’m ambitious and driven, with a dream to keep changing lives through theatre — to tell stories that inspire, challenge, and connect us all.

Recent Performances
Most recently, I had the incredible opportunity to play Wendla in Spring Awakening at Clear Space Theatre, directed by David Button and choreographed by Ben Bogen. I also played Liesel in The Sound of Music during the Golden Night at Lincoln Center. I portrayed Maria in West Side Story at NCC Summer Theatre (directed by Darah Dohaner).
